Epinions Great camera for intended use

by  mx5,  Nov 23, 2000
Pros: Small, light, simple, pockatable
Cons: none, just be aware of what it was made for
Review: I purchased my camera in June of 2000 and have taken over 1400 photos with it.

Having a Nikon SLR system with lens and flash for slides and an Olympus stylus epic for prints I was looking for an inexpensive point and shoot digital that...

Epinions Cheap Shots! Agfa ePhoto CL 18

by  nwinston,  Mar 16, 2001
Pros: Great inexpensive digital camera
Cons: If you want to spend more, you can get more resolution and memory.
The Bottom Line: If you want an inexpensive digital camera for emailing family snaps or doing auctions, this one will work. Better photos will come from more expensive, higher resolution cameras.
Review: Digital photos are a great invention for me. I take
tons of family snaps. Being able to bundle them into
email saves me time and money. I used to have to develop
pictures, look at them, decide which ones to reprint,
wait...

Epinions The AGFA ePhoto CL18 is a pretty nice little digital camera for the money

by  kelly60,  Feb 2, 2001
Pros: Tiny camera with lots of big features.
Cons: No expandable memory.
The Bottom Line: It has some very impressive features for it’s size, and an affordable price tag as well. Though this tiny digital camera is small, it comes packed with lots of extras.

by  anniehm,  Jan 8, 2001
Pros: quality good for price
Cons: flash not great
Review: We bought our CL18 last week and it has turned out to be a very good buy. As with all things in life you only get what you pay for but with this camera we got more.

Epinions Great first time!

by  schips,  Jul 10, 2001
Pros: Price. EVERYTHING is included.
Cons: Pictures only good for email.
The Bottom Line: If all you want to do is email pictures: All the features, ease of use, low price: How can you go wrong?
Review: This review will cover a couple of "firsts" for me.
It's the first review I have written about the first digital camera I have ever owned. Keep that in mind, as you read this: my only frame of reference is my expectations of the camera.

by  melissyd,  Apr 6, 2003
Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to operate
Cons: Holding the camera steady for 5 seconds after taking picture, Not XP compatible
The Bottom Line: Nice digital camera for first time buyers.
Review: I found this camera on eBay for $30. Sure it was purple, but still. It was my first and I enjoyed it.

Fairly easy to operate. Some people may have trouble though, my father did when he first tried to download the pictures.

Epinions A bargain .3 mpixel camera

by  ConnCarl,  Jan 7, 2001
Pros: Cheap. Complete. USB interface.
Cons: No LCD. Menus are less than clear.
Review: I bought the CL18 as a replacement for my aging Casio QV-10 digicam.

I purchased it at Office Depot on sale for $60, plus it came with a $30 MIR from Agfa. I figured I couldn't go wrong for the money.

Turns out, it has some great...

Epinions Dual Capability on a Budget Price!

by  surferdude7, top reviewer in Electronics ,  Feb 18, 2001
Pros: It is made for video conferencing and still photography with quality pictures.
Cons: No memory upgrade or color LCD display.
The Bottom Line: This is a low budget camera made for the people who can not afford the higher priced models but want a good picture.
Review: This little camera will take 640 x 480 images and is ready for video conferencing. List price is $149 and can be found as low as $89 if you shop around.

"NOTE" The picture Epinions shows is not the Agfa ePhoto CL18 camera.

Pros: - small, low power consumption, decent outdoor pictures, fast USB connection
Cons: Weak flash, no memory expansion slot, customer service
Review: Few months ago I was looking to buy a small and portable camera that I can use when on the road.
The intended use was report writing about a large area of quality issues and pictures were used to illustrate defective materials or mishandling of...

Epinions No 8x10's from this, but good for Snapshots!

by  Jr2001,  Dec 13, 2000
Pros: inexpensive, webcam conversion included, easy to use
Cons: It ain't a $1600 Olympus!
Review: All right...it ain't the top of the line...but it is a good point and shoot camera for the price...and VERY easy to use. The perfect "grab shot" camera to haul around in the van to the kid's soccer games and birthday parties or in the boat,...
