The true essence of trouble free digital photography

I absolutely love the Canon Rebel XTi digital SLR camera. I traded in a terrific film camera, a Canon EOS 1V for this one that I hoped would at least come close to the craftsmanship and high level performance I was used to. Boy, was I impressed. The XTi was lighter, faster, easier to operate and took pictures that were truly mind-boggling. I took it to New Mexico and put it through the paces and it performed admirably. No light situation or exposure challenge was a match for this device. The colors were vibrant and true. The included editing software was intuitive and effective, seamlessly integrating the camera with the PC to provide extraordinary editing capability. I am now the photographer that I always felt that I wanted to be. Excellent camera, man.

I was pleasantly surprised by the integrated flash unit. It really provided a crisp, wide burst of light in situations that could have easily turned out dark and isolated. The XTi was accurate in knowing when the flash was needed and produced very nice results.

I especially enjoyed the XTi's ability to utilize other lenses. I had a Sigma f/2.8 75-200 zoom lens. It connected to the XTi without a hitch and worked very well. I could probably get a photo-converter to get some noticeable enhancement to the photos, but by itself it works just fine.
